Hi everyone,
Please visit the FB Red Beach Studio page if you'd like to see art work and events evolving each week.
Currently I'm teaching a general class for all levels on Mondays and Wednesdays for 8yrs+. Each term students will use a variety of materials and techniques like painting and drawing with 2D and 3D elements based around a different theme. For term 4 2026 the theme is 'Marine magic' as we explore the sea world and paint marbled underwater scenes, with a focus on drawing endangered sea creatures such as turtles and our own Maui dolphins. Then students will create various illustrations in inks after Maurice Sendaks book 'Where the wild things are' with a focus on boats and sailing. Lastly we will paint stones for Xmas gifts in a sea theme of students own design.

Wednesdays are for new students at 4pm-5.15pm starting 21st October- 9th Dec. N.b. For any trial class there's a fee to cover costs of $20 per student.
I have my own work currently on display at Clara's Cafe Silverdale and Estuary Art centre Orewa. For private studio visits please book an appointment.
